    Christina Cacouris is a journalist, curator, and speaker based in Paris. 
She is a contributing editor at Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio, where she interviews curators and academics about some of the most prolific and luminary photographers in history. She has lectured at New York City's Cultural Services of the French Embassy, The National Arts Club, Savannah College of Art and Design, Paris’s Librairie 7L, and moderated panel discussions for Copenhagen Fashion Week. She has also contributed new scholarship on photography for London’s National Portrait Gallery. She was a member of the Newswomen’s Club of New York and formerly served as Co-Chair of the Photography Committee at the National Arts Club.

	Selected by Nick Knight for this week-long curation, The Transatlantic Avant-Garde was an online exhibition at SHOWstudio unfolding over one week dedicated to the artists who emigrated from New York to Paris and from Paris to New York in the early 20th century. The curation comprised a series of images, videos, and text explicating the progression of the avant-garde, the development of photography, and fashion’s relationship with art.

	Noritaka Tataehana: Refashioning Beauty (2019) was the first-ever North American solo exhibition of acclaimed Japanese artist Noritaka Tatehana. The exhibition showcased Tatehana’s sculptural and two-dimensional works of art and design created by employing the most refined Japanese craftsmanship, re-imagining the timeless appeal of celebrated symbols for contemporary audiences.
   
Noritaka Tatehana: Refashioning Beauty was lauded by Architectural Digest, GRAY Magazine, and The Oregonian.

	Women and Photography (2019), an exhibition celebrating the contributions of female artists to the medium, took place at the historic National Arts Club in Gramercy Park, showcasing a range of subject and form to challenge the notion that women in photography have a singular vision. Both new voices as well as pioneering icons were represented, including Lisette Model, Marjan Teeuwen, Brea Souders, Trine Søndergaard, Fatmeh Baigmoradi, Helen Levitt, Yoko Ikeda, Simone Rosenbauer, and Marcia Resnick.
